Charles J. Merdinger served as President of Washington College from 1970-1973. His papers deal with campus unrest, a coffee house for students, the Truslow Boathouse, and the Middle States Review.

Includes letter from Etta to Wilbur R. regarding trip to Havana, 1916, and articles by Etta on the restoration and reuse of the Working People's club and using it as a model for reusing buildings for returning veterans.
